SERVICES
Using Autodesk PowerMill and Fusion 360 CAM software for 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC programming means having a vast library of machining strategies at our fingertips. With the specs of your machines, we’re able to automate collision avoidance and ensure safe cutting. We’ll provide you with clearly documented step-by-step instructions for each operation, making the process clear for any level of machinist. We’ll work with your tooling inventory, but also make suggestions that can improve production times when viable. With many years of machining experience, we’re all too familiar with the caution needed in programming to avoid expensive machine repairs and the costly down-time those repairs come with. For projects large or small, we’re available to work directly with your machinists from the set-up to the first piece inspection or beyond.

Work holding design
Precision work holding is one of the most critical aspects of manufacturing. Fixturing your parts securely, in an easily verifiable location ensures consistency and should be comprehensive to your team on the shop floor. CNC Milling, Plasma cutting, laser cutting, EDM, and Grinding can benefit greatly from a customized fixture, whether it holds a single piece or many pieces. It can also optimize cutting time by helping you utilize all 24 hours of the day. It isn’t just the CNC side of manufacturing that can benefit from a well-made fixture. It is often beneficial to restrain welded assemblies, or operations that include de-burring, polishing, inspection and assembly. Simple or complex, we have the knowledge and hands-on experience to improve your production or even tackle those one-off parts without compromising your budget.
CAD and cam training
PowerMill® CAM software is an excellent tool to utilize for all your 3- and 5-axis machining work, but the learning curve can be steep. We’ll provide your team with in-person training on your own parts at whatever pace necessary, empowering you to cover your programming needs in house. Like it or not, PowerMill® CAM software is only sold as an extension of Autodesk Fusion 360 which is a powerful parametric modeling software with ever improving features. Why not utilize both tools? Learn to design your own work holdings and bring your CAD needs in house as well.
CAD design
There are many reasons you may find yourself in need of a 3D model. As the manufacturing industry ebbs and flows, you might see long established projects come across your desk with less technical data than you’d like. Machining complex geometry without a 3D model can be quite challenging. The experienced machinists capable enough to do so are often of retirement age, close to it, or well past it. With what data you do have (i.e. Prints, sample parts, photos) we can model these parts to match your specifications and simplify the production process.

Documents get lost. Data gets erased. Procedures and processes are forgotten. These things happen and you might find yourself in need of a component which there is no replacement or technical data available for. That may seem like a huge dilemma, but it doesn’t have to be. Using high point density 3D scanning technology along with more conventional measuring methods, we’re able to provide you with digital models and prints to replace your lost data.
